อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยอินทนนท์ ประกาศเป็นอุทยานฯ เมื่อ พ.ศ.2515 ประกาศเป็นอุทยานฯ เป็นลำดับที่ 6 ของประเทศไทย มีพื้นที่ 482.4 ตารางกิโลเมตร ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ในเขตอำเภอจอมทอง อำเภอแม่แจ่มอำเภอแม่วาง และกิ่งอำเภอดอยหล่อ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ดอยอินทนนท์แต่เดิมดอยนี้มีชื่อว่า “ดอยหลวง” หรือ “ดอยอ่างกา” ดอยหลวง มาจากขนาดของดอยที่ใหญ่มาก ชาวบ้านจึงเรียกกันว่า “ดอยหลวง”
กลุ่มน้ำตกแม่ปาน
ประกอบด้วยน้ำตก 7 แห่ง ได้แก่ น้ำตกแม่ปาน น้ำตกออบน้อย น้ำตกผาสำราญ น้ำตกสองพี่น้อง น้ำตกธารทอง น้ำตกแท่นพระสังข์ และน้ำตกห้วยทรายเหลือง อยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติ (กม.31) ไปตามถนนสายจอมทอง-ดอยอินทนนท์ ไปยังด่านตรวจที่ 2 (กม.38) แยกซ้ายไปทางอำเภอแม่แจ่มประมาณ 6 กิโลเมตร มีทางแยกขวาเข้าไปหน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานแห่งชาติที่ อน.2 (แม่แจ่ม) ประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร ซึ่งทางอุทยานแห่งชาติได้จัดเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติผาสำราญ (น้ำตกแม่ปาน-ห้วยทรายเหลือง)

The ceasefire announcement also follows months of what is widely regarded as a successful police crackdown against ETA operatives in Spain and also in ETA’s hideouts in neighboring France and Portugal. Police have arrested many of ETA’s suspected top operatives, as well as many ETA foot soliders, and seized bomb-making materials and weapons from hidden arms caches, virtually shutting off ETA attacks.
In its ceasefire announcement Sunday, ETA said that “months ago it decided not to carry out armed offensive actions,” but made no mention of what it might consider a “defensive” action.
The announcement was accompanied an ETA video which showed three apparent ETA members seated at a table in front of an ETA banner and facing a camera. They wore white face hoods with eye holes but their mouths covered, black berets and black jerseys.

Boat trips hug the coast westward from Hora Sfakion to Paleohora, via Loutro and Agia Roumeli; the latter is where throngs of tired hikers stumble out of the Samaria Gorge – at 16km, Europe’s longest.

ทีลอซู .. เป็น ภาษากะเหรี่ยง ความหมายคือ น้ำตกอันยิ่งใหญ่ ซึ่งน้ำตกแห่งนี้ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในเอเชียอาคเนย์ มีความสูง 200-300 เมตร สวยงามติดอันดับโลกทีเดียว น้ำตกทีลอซูอยู่ในเขตความดูแลของเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าอุ้มผาง อ.แม่สอด ระยะทางห่างจากกรุงเทพ 668 ก.ม. ไปตามทางหลวงแผ่นดินหมายเลข 1 เส้นทางสายเอเชีย จนถึง อ.เมือง จ.ตาก แล้วแยกเข้าสู่ อ.แม่สอด ตามเส้นทางหมายเลข 105 ซึ่งเป็นทางขึ้นลงเขาสลับกันไปเป็นระยะทาง 80 ก.ม. จนถึง อ.แม่สอด จากนั้นมุ่งสู่เส้นทางหมายเลข 1090 เป็นเส้นทางคดเคี้ยวกว่า 1,219 โค้ง ไปตามถนนลอยฟ้า น้ำตกทีลอซู ในช่วงฤดูฝนต้น ต.ค. ร่มรื่นด้วยป่าเขียวๆ น้ำตกทีลอซูมีปริมาณน้ำมากเป็นช่วงที่น้ำตกมีความสวยงามมาก แต่ว่าช่วงฤดูฝน 1 มิ.ย. – 31 ต.ค. เป็นช่วงที่ถนนทางเข้าปิดไม่ให้รถเข้า ดังนั้นการเที่ยวในช่วงนี้จึงต้องเดินเข้าไป จากตัวเมืองตาก-อุ้มผาง ใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข 1 (ตาก-กกำแพงเพชร) ระยะทาง 7 กิโลเมตรเลี้ยวขวาเข้าทางหลวงหมายเลข 105 (อำเภอแม่สอด) ระยะทางประมาณ 87 กิโลเมตร จากนั้นใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข 1090 (อำเภออุ้มผาง) ระยะทาง 164 กิโลเมตร ใช้เวลาประมาณ 4 ชั่วโมงเส้นทางการเดินทางไปน้ำตกทีลอซูต้องผ่านขุนเขาและโค้งมากควรขับรถ ด้วยคาวมระมัดระวัง จากอำเภออุ้มผางมี 2 เส้นทางให้เลือก สำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวที่นำรถมาปัจจุบันมีถนนลาดยางระยะทางประมาณ 42 กิโลเมตร จากนั้นเดินอีกประมาณ 1.8 กิโลเมตรจะถึงน้ำตก หรืออยากสนุกเลือกนั่งเรือล่องแก่งจากผู้ประกอบการในตัวเมืองอุ้มผางล่องไป ขึ้นที่ห่วยพิทักษ์ป่าผาเลือด จากนั้นมีรถต่อไปยังน้ำตกทีลอซู

อุทยานแห่งชาติหมู่ เกาะช้าง เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติทางทะเลตั้งอยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกของอำเภอแหลมงอบ จังหวัดตราด บริเวณทะเลอ่าวไทยฝั่งตะวันออก ประกอบด้วยเกาะต่างๆประมาณ 47 กว่าเกาะ และมีเกาะที่มีลักษณะเป็นหินโผล่ขึ้นมาเหนือทะเลอีกจำนวนมาก เกาะช้างเป็นเกาะที่มีพื้นที่มากที่สุด มีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 268,125 ไร่ อุทยานแห่งชาติหมู่ เกาะช้าง มีเนื้อที่รวมทั้งเกาะและน่านน้ำตลอดชายฝั่ง ประมาณ 650 ตารางกิโลเมตร หรือ 406,250 ไร่
หาดทรายขาว เป็นหาดที่มีระยะทางยาว 6 กม. มีบังกะโลตั้งอยู่หลายแห่ง มีถนนรอบเกาะตัดชิดหาดมากที่สุด สามารถเล่นน้ำได้ แต่บางช่วงของหาดจะต่างระดับ ลึกตื้นไม่เท่ากัน เลียบชายหาดมี โรงแรม รีสอร์ท ร้านค้า ร้านอาหาร ตั้งอยู่เรียงรายมากมาย ดูเหมือนว่าบริเวณนี้จะมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกมากกว่าบริเวณอื่นๆ

The fishing village of Stonehaven with its cliff-lined harbour is 15 minutes by train (or 45 minutes by bus) from Aberdeen. A pleasant 15-minute walk south along the clifftops leads to the dramatic ruins of Dunnotar Castle (dunnottarcastle.co.uk; £5).

อุทยานแห่งชาติหมู่สถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะสิมิลันอยู่ในเขต อ.คุระบุรี จ.พังงา สิมิลัน เป็นภาษายาวี หมายถึง เก้า ตามจำนวนสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะที่เรียงตัวในแนวเหนือ-ใต้ โดยสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะหนึ่งอยู่ด้านทิศใต้ สถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะแปดหรือสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะสิมิลันมีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดบนพื้นที่ประมาณ 5 ตารางกิโลเมตร
หินปูซาร์หรือสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะกะโหลก เป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะอันดับ 7 ของหมู่สถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะสิมิลัน มีลักษณะเป็นก้อนหินขนาดใหญ่ มีลักษณะแปลกมาก เมื่อมองดูจากมุมหนึ่งจะเห็นเป็นรูปหัวกะโหลก สภาพใต้น้ำของสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เกาะนี้สวยงามแห่งหนึ่ง และมีระดับความลึกที่แตกต่างกันออกไปหลายระดับชั้น สภาพเหมือนหุบเขาใต้น้ำที่เต็มไปด้วย ปะการัง และหุบเหวลึก ปลาใหญ่น้อยนับแสน พากันเวียนว่ายอยู่ตามก้อนหิน และบางครั้งมีโลมาปรากฏให้เห็น

Mr Carter met senior North Korean officials after arriving in Pyongyang on Wednesday on what was described as “a private humanitarian trip”.

On his arrival, Mr Carter was met by North Korea’s nuclear negotiator, Kim Kye-gwan, KCNA said.

Later he held “cordial” talks with the country’s deputy leader, Kim Yong-nam, the agency said.

Six-nation talks aimed at ending North Korea’s nuclear ambitions have been stalled for several months.

Mr Carter’s visit comes at a time of heightened tension between North Korea and the outside world, in the wake of the sinking of a South Korean warship.

International investigators say a North Korean torpedo sank the Cheonan, which went down near the disputed inter-Korean border on 26 March with the loss of 46 sailors.
